Hi there! I'm Rachel, and I'm so happy you stopped by! I live in Denton, Texas with my husband, and we will be celebrating four years of marriage this year. He's working on his Ph.D, and I'm working on...well, a little bit of everything, it would seem.

I created The Artsy Homemaker so I could share my love of everything homey, crafty, and vintagey. I wanted to be able to share a little more about these projects than a Facebook post could hold. From sewing projects to cleaning tips to great food, I hope you'll find something helpful here. Creating things for others brings me joy, and I want you to be able to experience that joy too.
